Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey includes farmers, consumers, retailers, processors, educators, and researchers working to develop a sustainable organic agricultural system. They provide assistance to both organic and progressive conventional farmers, educate diverse audiences about how organic practices affect food and the environment, and provide independent, third-party certification to organic farms and processors.

Pedals for Progress rescues bicycles destined for U.S. landfills and ships them to developing countries where they are sold inexpensively and become sorely needed forms of transportation and integral components of micro-businesses. Proceeds from bike sales fund local community programs as well as subsequent shipments of bicycles.

Pedals for Progress rescues bicycles destined for overburdened U.S. landfills and ships them to developing countries where they’re highly valued as inexpensive transportation. Pedals for Progress donates the first shipment of bicycles to a local nonprofit partner, who sells the bikes far below market value so that the people most in need can afford them. Enough money is raised from those sales to pay both for subsequent shipments and to fund other critical community programs. To date, Pedals for Progress has donated more than 133,000 bicycles in 33 countries.
