Tahoe Rim Trail Association maintains and enhances the Tahoe Rim Trail system, which passes through three national forests, three wilderness areas, and one state park. The Association encourages environmental stewardship through volunteer programs, educational outreach, and community partnerships, and connects local high school student to the trails through a Youth Backcountry Scholarship Program.
