Great River Greening conserves critical land habitat, protects clean air and water, and increases urban residents’ access to sustainable open space. Since 1995, it has engaged over 25,000 volunteers; partnered with more than 400 landowners, businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies; planted more than 60,000 trees and shrubs, and restored 4,000 acres.

Land Stewardship Project promotes sustainable agriculture and ethical stewardship of farmland through cultural programs and a farmer-to-farmer network that helps farmers move to more sustainable farming methods. They also help communities stop factory farms, link sustainable livestock producers to potential urban customers, and support federal policies advocating for farming alternatives that benefit farmers and the land.
