GRuB (Garden-Raised Bounty) encourages individual and community food solutions. Since 1993, it has partnered with youth and people with low-incomes to build more than 2,300 backyard and community gardens, host workshops, and provide training and resources to increase healthy food access in Thurston and Mason counties. GRuB in the Schools allows students to earn credits while learning about and contributing to their local food systems through programs such as Farming Self, Farming Land, and Farming Community.
